Whale

This one was fun to do...it's for my drawing class...it's a project I'm currently working on where we are suppose to draw ten pictures in ten days...this is one of the ten...I really don't know what it is...I did a different approach in trying to draw this one...I don't normally do abstract-like pictures...or don't start that way anyways...I usually have an idea of what I want to draw then let it develop, but with these ten pics...I listened to music while painting with watercolor and using other media to draw abstractly...then I went in afterwards and found shapes within the paintings that resembled animals and other creatures or plants...It's been a lot of fun and very different from what I'm use to...for this pic I listened mostly to Kalafina's album Seventh Heaven.  Used guache, micron pens, cresent board, sharpie, prisma color pencils, and graphite.
